For today's pattern I started with my Pattern 148. To give it a little more of a swirly feel and to eliminate the appearance of the straight lines and triangles, I modified the pattern just a little. Using the Paint Brush Tool, I simply continued the lines of the light lime green swirl. I only had to do this once in one of the corners, as I was able to copy and paste over the three remaining quadrants. For each copy and paste, I had to rotate the layer by 90 degrees. You can see how this modification appears in my images below.
