Refer to my instructions for Pattern 105 on how to create my 'watercolor' patterns. For this next one, I started with my Pattern 004, one of my kaleidoscopes, that I created and posted on January 12th. I thought I would try opening different types of files to see what I can come up with. If you go back and look at that pattern, you may recognize this one by the colors in my first image below.
After applying the Offset Filter, I created a swirl with the Smudge Tool. I then used the Offset Filter again and created another swirl. I like the overall effect that came out of this process. After filling in my eight inch square, I modified the colors using the Hue/Saturation dialog box.
