Next are a couple of butterfly pictures
that I designed in Photoshop Elements. The background fabric was a
commercial black and white print that I stitched and painted to give it the
greenish cast. I then took a photo of the background and opened it in
Photoshop to design the rest of the picture. The zebra stripes were cut
out of fabric and the flowers and butterfly were printed to fabric and
appliqued and free motion stitched on the very top.
The second one is similar to the first
one so they could be hung together. They have the same background fabrics
and are made with the same techniques.
