52 Weeks of Art

I did several smaller kaleidoscope pictures during my 2012 52 weeks of art.  Here is one of my favorites.  I designed the kaleidoscope and opened it in Photoshop Elements.  To give it the elongated look that would fit an 8” x 10” picture, I simply ‘stretched’ the image by using the move tool and dragging the bottom edge down to make it longer.  I edited the colors, printed it to fabric, and stitched the design.
