Starting with the same 2 inch by 2 inch file, I again filled it with my Pattern 81 the same as I did for my last pattern. This time I filled in the green part (Paint Bucket Tool with 'Contiguous' unchecked) with my Pattern 18. I then changed the colors to what you see below in my first image. The second image shows the pattern repeat. Even though I combined the same two patterns, but filled a different part of the original pattern, the end result looks very different.
