While creating a yard of fabric at Spoonflower, I had enough space along the side to create a set of coasters with some of my patterns. These are each 4 inches by 4 inches and were created from patterns 193, 195, 196, and 199 that I posted back in October. I changed the background colors so each one would be a different jewel tone. I stitched along the pattern lines and then I colored in the gold with a gold metallic gel pen. I then fused Peltex and a backing fabric to give the coasters stiffness and satin stitched the edges.
