See my Pattern 81 instructions that I posted on May 3rd for how I create these types of patterns. All of the following five patterns I created using this method. They are all 4 inch square patterns with the repeat in a 16 inch square following each one. It is amazing how they are all created the same way, yet they can look so different. I'm even amazed at how you never know from looking at a single instance how it is going to look as an overall pattern once it is repeated.
