Pattern 66

You don't always have to start from scratch to create a design or pattern that looks new and different.  This next pattern I started out by opening Pattern 65.  All I did to make this look like a new pattern was to add extra lines in the centers of the polygonal shapes in the corners.  As you can see when it is repeated, it looks very different from the original pattern.  It reminds me of some of the detailed applique work of the Tentmakers of Cairo.
